The hunt continues . . . again More pics of cast and crew getting Wee Scarvies, post-ROTK opening.
		John Noble! The wonderfully named i_ate_4_lembas found John Noble (Denethor) in New Zealand during the ROTK world premiere! Here he is holding it under his nose "Rhys-Davies" style. Now, Sam had already given him one in September in Canberra (see group shot on page 2), but this is much funnier. lol
		Ted Nasmith! Ted receives his Wee Scarvie! He is now officially a Loon, although he has absolutely NO IDEA what it all means. Ha ha ha!! Ted Nasmith, as you should know, is a long-time Tolkien illustrator. MaggieSt caught Ted and Quickbeam (click on Ted for Quickbeam's photo) at The Gathering, and gave them their scarvies tied with purple to a printout of the letter of explanation I send people. So the poor man at least has a clue. lol
		ORLANDO BLOOM!!! Cliff "Quickbeam" Broadway got inducted into our little Fellowship. He had heard about them and was quite pleased to receive one. By the way, MaggieSt says, "While I was standing in line to give Ted Nasmith his Honorary Scarvie, Bruce Hopkins was seated just before Ted and noticed my Scarvie. He got real excited and said "you're a Loon!" (he was also wearing a "Fellowship of the Loons" button). Says he still has his scarvie "in a drawer at home. I mentioned that Bruce might have to help Ted out with the total meaning behind it all." 3/6/2004 Just got a call from ShelaghC that just after the taping of the Sharon Osbourne show, she was presented with the Wee Scarvie that was around the neck of Disco Stu (Can't explain that, sorry!). Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to bring a camera in, so they didn't any pics, but if you've seen the show, they were seated right behind the sofas, and handed Sharon the Wee Scarvie right after the taping. (ShelaghC was holding up a guitar picture during Billy's singing.) The show aired on the 4th, but they filmed on the 1st of March. Sharon was told that if she asked Billy about it backstage, he'd explain it all to her. So she said, "Um, okay!" lol Now I've gotta send them a new one for Disco Stu! lol 3/10/2007 I've been PM'd by ShelaghC with the news that THE ENTIRE FELLOWSHIP HAS NOW BEEN SCARVIED! Orlando Bloom finally received his Wee Scarvie, completing the scarvieing of the entire Fellowship. Thanks to Alesia (Wednesday Addams) for accomplishing this amazing feat by pinning the boy down while he was at the ORC convention in March of 2007 at the performance of Beecake, Billy Boyd's band. Apparently Mr. Bloom was in the audience with Viggo and Dom, and Alesia managed to pin a scarvie on him. We've done it! Apparently she'd asked to take his photo with it, and at first he declined saying that he didn't want to upstage Billy at his own concert by having his picture taken with fans during the show. But he said he'd come back after the show for a picture. They hadn't really expected to see him again, but he came back! What a sweet guy.
